- From what I understand, IBM has released the OS/2 2.1 beta as a WIDE
- release. It is available to anyone who asks for it.

- IBM will supply the CD containing the beta for $15 in the
- USA. Even IBM's own ftp site (software.watson.ibm.com) has the beta
- available for download.

- Apparently they are relying on the fact that people will not want to
- stick with the beta code and will buy the actual release when it
- comes out.
