  22. From what I understand, IBM has released the OS/2 2.1 beta as a WIDE
  23. release. It is available to anyone who asks for it.

  25. IBM will supply the CD containing the beta for $15 in the
  26. USA. Even IBM's own ftp site (software.watson.ibm.com) has the beta
  27. available for download.

  29. Apparently they are relying on the fact that people will not want to
  30. stick with the beta code and will buy the actual release when it
  31. comes out.
