- I can honestly say that some fidonet boards can do that. I know
- that board that I am on, sends out mail to the gateway as soon
- as I log off. Then it's all up to the gateway how long it takes
- to put it onto the internet. As you say it's usually done
- straight away. As for imcoming mail, does your UUCP board poll
- your hub, or does the hub call your board when it has mail for
- it? If a local Network is being used (such as MTLnet), then
- since the calls are NOT long distance, it would be possible to
- set up a board that polls the UUCP gateway every 1/2 hour.
