- Hi. I've read the FAQ, and read all of the posts. Seems as though
- scopes are one of those "religious" items. Anyhow, this is my
- second post requesting somebody sell me their telescope ;>
- Here's what I'd like:
-
- -8"+ SCT
- -good mount (fork preferred, but Super Polaris is acceptible with
- clock drive and corrector)
- -clock drive (corrector and wedge would be nice)
- -at least one eyepiece
- -decent finder (8X50 or so)
- -less than $1000
- -less than $1500 with computer, corrector, wedge
-
- The reason I want an SCT is because of the transportability factor ;
- I don't want to dread having to pull out my scope.
- If somebody wants to sell me their Questar 7" for within my budget,
- (we've left reality behind here;), that's cool too.
-
- Thanks, Ralph
