  35. It would be too easy to talk about providing for the national defense,
  36. etc.  The fact of the matter is that conservatives usually don't 
  37. fall for the "Why can't we all just love each other" crap.  I know
  38. that, for example, if America was unarmed, some freak would arm himself
  39. and capitalize.  No, I'm not paranoid and I am damn sick and tired of
  40. so much of MY money being WASTED on UNNECESSARY defense (damn sticky 
  41. shift key).  Yes, I do resent the government taking away my money
  42. with the pretense of helping others.  I can give to any charity I 
  43. like.  I don't need the gubment to pick them for me.  The fact of the
  44. matter is that it is unethical.  No, I am not heartless.  I would
  45. just rather control my money "vote" and give to those organizations
  46. and people that I want to help.  I worked for my money, I should be
  47. able to do that.
