  18. Lights?  We've got airplanes, lots of airplanes at night.  I've stared
  19. at a huge rising planet for minutes, until I figured out it was rising
  20. in the WEST, and then started to blink red and green lights.  Those
  21. are IFOs, though, and not what you wanted.

  23. One day I -heard- a twin-engine plane overhead, but looked up and
  24. -saw- only a single-engine plane.  Maybe I was seeing an an
  25. -invisible- UFO?  No such luck, it was an old Ford tri-motor, looks
  26. like a single-engine until you see that there are really THREE
  27. engines.

  29. Our horses see unidentified lurking objects (ULOs).  "That rock at the
  30. side of the road has Something That Eats Horses behind it, and I'm not
  31. going anywhere near it," says Velvet, our generally sensible 13-year-
  32. old mare.

  34. Other weird things happen, sometimes.  Let's see - there was this
  35. gelding who mounted a mare last year at a nearby farm.  We expect to
  36. see a little baby gelding any day now.
