- In Alabama, there is not a whole lot you can do in terms of stopping the
- Power Company from taking an easement. They will ask nicely, and work with
- you for awhile, but if it comes down to it, they will take it to court, and
- you pretty much lose your ability to negotiate with them. I would suggest
- that you negotiate for what you can while negotiation is possible, and
- they are willing to work with you.
