  14.   You know you're a mom when your 23-month old son
  15.   insists that YOU zip up your coat before going out the
  16.   door!  Sigh...  No matter how cold, I just plop on my
  17.   coat and go flapping out the door (I'm a Californian
  18.   on leave in NYC).

  20.   Also the other day, my mother-in-law locked herself in
  21.   the bathroom so that she could clean it.  My husband
  22.   didn't want her to clean anything since we've already
  23.   cleaned it to our specs.  But she refused to come out.
  24.   Meanwhile we had spaghetti and I dumped some Parmesan
  25.   cheese on mine (and didn't let my son since he would
  26.   have just wasted it).  As soon as my m-i-l comes out
  27.   of the bathroom, Tony grabs the Comet cleanser and
  28.   runs to the table and tries to dump it on my m-i-l's
  29.   food yelling in Spanish, "I put cheese in her food!"
  30.   Luckily in my m-i-l's zeal to clean, she had used up
  31.   all the Comet!
