- Maybe this will help those of you with infants. When my kids were small
- I used to cut their nails while I was nursing them. I sat in a
- rocker/recliner (the soft kind) and rested the baby's head on the arm of
- the chair - that way I had both hands free instead of using one hand to
- cradle his head. Sitting on any couch or chair with pillows for support
- works too. They never seemed to mind, or even notice what I was doing.
- This also worked for me later on when I was giving them a bottle. They
- were so busy/happy with what they were doing that they didn't notice
- what I was doing.
-
- You might want to give it a try - it worked great for me.
-
- Since my youngest (16 months) has been off the bottle, though, I've been
- having a heck of a time. He has a hard time sitting still long enough.
- I usually try to squeeze it in after bathtime - I may only get one hand
- cut at a time. Any advice for handling a squirmy toddler would be
- appreciated. Thanks, Nancy
