  12. My 2yo daughter often goes from bed to potty in the morning.  She also
  13. often dawdles about getting dressed.  We often take clothes to the
  14. bathroom and take her sleeper off as she sits down and put socks and
  15. shirt on while she does her business (or waits to, or kills time
  16. not...).  Not more than a couple minutes, to be sure but it helps.

  18. Also, when the mix of dishes on the table is right, I can clear the
  19. breakables and let her ferry the rest to me as I begin washing the
  20. dishes.  This works VERY well because Heather LOVES to "help".  In
  21. this case, a little forethought allows her to genuinely contribute and
  22. gives me some time while I know what she's up to so that I can get
  23. something done.
