  20. I don't think its any excuse.  With her money and connections I'm 
  21. sure she could have found good, legal childcare.

  23. I think she just wanted to save a few bucks.  Can't fault her for 
  24. that.  But if you do something illegal, then be prepared to take 
  25. the consequences when/if you get caught.

  27. Considering the field she is in, taking any kind of risk with 
  28. something illegal, no matter how minor, is very foolish.

  30. If someone down the street from me has someone else watch her 
  31. kids, and neither report it to the IRS, I could care less.  If 
  32. they hire illegal aliens to do it, I would not approve, but 
  33. would not say anything and would not report it.  (According to a 
  34. friend in San Antonio, TX, this is not uncommon.)  I would, 
  35. however, not feel sorry for them if they got caught.
