- One of my friends has a daughter who stops breathing and passes out
- when she's very upset... she's going to be 2 in a couple of months.
- It's kinda scary to see, especially when you're not used to it, but if
- they get to the point of passing out, normal breathing resumes
- immediately.

- Blowing in the face of a young child causes them to inhale. That
- technique is used at the YMCA to help toddlers learn to go underwater
- - count to three, blow in face, toddler takes a breath, then you lower
- the child under for a second. I never thought of using it to stop the
- holding breath spells, though.
