- An entire class on tour? Weelll, if each and every student had removed their
- clothing down to the genitals and then sat spread-eagled to watch the
- delivery, I wouldn't mind so much. In fact, if my birthing center plans
- fall through and I have to go to the back-up hospital, which is a teaching
- hospital, unfortunately, AND a class comes by, I'll invite them right in
- with that one disrobing stipulation!!
-
- Because it's a teaching hospital, the midwives get a lot of grief when they
- refuse to let students/interns in. Nevertheless, the midwives will respect
- the parents wishes on this. That's why I've chosen these midwives. They
- give all respect and freedom of choice on many matters to the parents.
- If a midwifery student wishes to be present, I will welcome that. In fact,
- if a midwife student is at the birth, then the hospital is happy and doesn't
- try to have all manner of other students present.
