- The intern who assisted my ob at my delivery saved me from an
- episiotomy. She massaged me and convinced my doctor that I
- would not tear. When I had previously brought up epis at my visits
- my doctor was very pro epis and I was really nervous. I ended up
- with 3 small tears, but I healed very quickly. I don't think
- it would have been so easy if I had beed cut. I consider myself very
- lucky that the intern
- was there.
-
- A previous poster (sorry, I can't remember who said this) said that all
- she wanted was the baby out. I agree! There were so many different nurses
- coming in and checking me internally over the 2 days that I was in the
- hospital that modesty seemed to go right out the window.
