- I have a few questions regarding "TEETHING" and what to expect. I have
- an 8 month old who started teething around 6 months of age. When he started
- teething my wife and I noticed that he started to droul exessively and
- came down with a few bouts of a fever. The fever was not that bad but we
- also noticed that he threw up a couple of times after the fever, we read
- different books on teething and what to expect but it did not mention anything
- about throwing up. This lasted about 3-4 days then it went away. Now that
- he is 8 months old he has just got over an ear ache which the Dr. gave us
- a perscription for......could the teething also caused the ear ache?????????
- Anyways, he's doing great, our son Steven has 2 small teeth on the bottom and
- a few on top starting to make their way out. A warning to moms about to breast
- feed their todlers after the teething, be careful, my wife tells me
- Steven's new habit is to start biting while breast feeding, Believe me, if
- your kids have not gone through this stage it's quite interesting to say the
- least. Oh, and no, we did not use ambusol or num's it, our son did not like
- the effects it had on his gums.
