- Angelica often acts up when I get home from work. Her dad insists it's
- intentional, I figure it's because she's tired. She often gets a short
- stint in the 'tantrum room' or sitting still on the bed in the evening.
-
- Last night, we had an unexpected urgent plumbing problem which required
- me to hold up the sink basin (sans pedistal) while Angelica's dad fixed
- the pipes. Angelica kept trying to wedge herself between us, move the
- stool I was bracing my leg on, etc. so she could 'help'. Repeated requests
- to stand behind up went ignored, so I finally told her to go sit on the
- bed and watch TV until we were done fixing the sink.
-
- In a perfectly innocent voice she said, "But mommy, I wasn't _trying_
- to be bad!"
-
- (Proved her daddy's point pertty well .....)
