  13. Angelica often acts up when I get home from work. Her dad insists it's 
  14. intentional, I figure it's because she's tired. She often gets a short
  15. stint in the 'tantrum room' or sitting still on the bed in the evening.

  17. Last night, we had an unexpected urgent plumbing problem which required 
  18. me to hold up the sink basin (sans pedistal) while Angelica's dad fixed
  19. the pipes. Angelica kept trying to wedge herself between us, move the
  20. stool I was bracing my leg on, etc. so she could 'help'. Repeated requests
  21. to stand behind up went ignored, so I finally told her to go sit on the 
  22. bed and watch TV until we were done fixing the sink.

  24. In a perfectly innocent voice she said, "But mommy, I wasn't _trying_
  25. to be bad!"
