  19. They must've intended some other company.  3-D Systems, symbol TDSSF, has an
  20. interesting-looking product: stereolithography equipment.  This takes
  21. a solid model CAD database, and scans a laser into a vat of liquid
  22. photopolymer with an elevator platform to build a solid polymer form
  23. slice-wise.  The machines sell for $250-500K.

  25. I bought TDSSF at 5.50.  Went up to around 16 and I very stupidly didn't sell.
  26. At this point, I might as well ride it into the ground.

  28. The stock was originally traded on Vancouver, but got onto the NASDAQ main
  29. list a couple of years ago.  Ciba-Geigy at one time owned a substantial chunk
  30. (maybe 1/3) of the company.  They sold out, but bought in again later if
  31. I recall correctly.
