- I have been using OLDE Discount for about 6 months. The office I deal with is in Raleigh, NC. They
- have provided what I would consider "full service" -- sending out analysts and company reports, making
- suggestions on stock purchases, providing regular stock updates and prices when you call, calling you
- when the stock rises or falls recommending a buy or sell, etc.
-
- Their commission schedule is very reasonable. They don't have a hard-sell style, and don't recommend
- stocks that are outside your interest.
-
- I transferred my Morgan Keegan brokerage account to OLDE by simply filling out a form that OLDE
- provided. OLDE will give you one free stock trade when you transfer your account. It takes a few
- weeks to get all the paperwork done, and the account moved, but it's painless -- no selling of shares
- is necessary.
-
- I would personally recommend the guy I use in the Raleigh office -- I have had no dealings with any
- other OLDE office or broker, however.
