- OK, maybe I'm being a little paranoid here, but I'm having a little trouble
- wording this...
-
- In our lab, there is one workstation whose carrel height is adjusted
- to clear the arms of a wheelchair. (Which makes it too tall for the
- "regular" chairs, but about right to stand at.) There is also a removable
- keyboard guard for use with a head rod. (Prevents the rod from hitting
- between keys.)
-
- I want to put a short notice in the console login prompt (can be more than
- one line) saying that handicapped users should be allowed priority on this
- workstation (though, unlike a handicap parking space, others may use it
- as well.) My first try came out something like:
-
- This workstation's height has been adjusted for wheelchair use --
- please allow those users priority on this machine.
-
- But somehow, that just doesn't sound quite right, and any
- use of "handicap(ped)" or "wheelchair" as an adjective sounds
- very awkward... Any advice??
