- Peter, there are a _bunch_ of outfits, large and small, in Washington D.C.
- that specialize in trademark searches. That's logical, since the PTO (Patents
- and Trademarks Office) is located there. They usually charge $50 and up,
- depending on the company and the level of the search. Sorry, I don't have
- any telephone numbers as I went through my local lawyer-blood-sucker :) who
- arranged the trademark search for me.

- If you have access to a commercial online service such as GEnie or Compuserve,
- you can do your own trademark searches online for an additional fee. While
- not as indepth as a "paper" search, you can get a quick answer this way.
