- I am a Fire/EMS dispatcher with Brevard County Public Safety, Brevard
- County
- Fl. Our time out policy is that the primary unit is paged, if no
- response in
- 3 minutes then the station is called by telephone. If no answer, yeah
- it has
- happend, then they are paged a second time and a secondary unit is
- dispatched.
- The second unit will continue until a determination of the closest unit
- and
- that the closest unit is in fact responding.
