-
- Leroy,
-
- Here's some off the top of my head.
-
- 1- A CPR Refresher.
- 2- Critical Incident Stress Talk
- 3- Arson Investigation Talk
- 4- Self Defense Lecture
- 5- Traffic Control and Road Hazard Safety
- 6- Ladder Climbing Drill
- 7- Hydrant Drill
- 8- SOP's Drill
- 9- Brush Fire Ops Talk / Drill
- 10- OSHA Regulations Update
-
- The first five can probably be done by inviting a
- Representative
- of the appropiate agency to talk at your station.
-
- The last five are things that probably are done, maybe not, that
- I
- thought of.
-
- Also.. If you have any special situations in your area like :
- Haz Mat
- manufacturing facilities... Gat a Department Tour. Nuclear
- Power
- Facilities... Get a Department Tour. Major Highway or truck
- traffic..
- get a local company to bring you some trailers / tankers so
- your
- personnel can be familiar with them.
-
- Thats all I can think of.
-
- Good Luck,
-
- Michael Seneco
