- This is a little tedious but it works.
-
- First, convert all apple works files to ascii text files and save
- them as such.
-
- Next obtain a null modem cable and card for your apple //e, the cable
- should plug into the serial port of your ibm.
-
- Next load up a null modem transfer program on the apple and ibm
- and start x-fering the files.
-
- Another solution is to do it via modem...its alot slower but it may
- be easier to obtain the hardware and software for the apple. Note
- in either case you must save your apple files as ascii file prior
- to x-fer.
-
- once the files are on the ibm - any decent spreadsheet, word pro., etc
- will be able to read ascii files...some manipulation of the data may
- still be necessary but it beats retyping it all.
