  12. This is a little tedious but it works.
  13.  
  14. First, convert all apple works files to ascii text files and save
  15. them as such.
  16.  
  17. Next obtain a null modem cable and card for your apple //e, the cable
  18. should plug into the serial port of your ibm.
  19.  
  20. Next load up a null modem transfer program on the apple and ibm
  21. and start x-fering the files.
  22.  
  23. Another solution is to do it via modem...its alot slower but it may
  24. be easier to obtain the hardware and software for the apple.  Note
  25. in either case you must save your apple files as ascii file prior
  26. to x-fer.

  28. once the files are on the ibm - any decent spreadsheet, word pro., etc
  29. will be able to read ascii files...some manipulation of the data may
  30. still be necessary but it beats retyping it all.
