- This probably isn't quite the solution youy're looking for,
- but I think Apple File Exchange on Apple Macintoshes can read files
- on 3.5" ProDOS disks to a mac format and then transfer them to a
- MSDOS format. That doesn't guarantee that any PC compatible programs
- will be able to use the transferred files. In fact, I think you may
- be hard pressed to find a PC software package that can load Appleworks
- documents. I'm not in the market for such a thing, but I think
- that may be the actual hurdle.

- I'm sure there are other solutions. But if this turns out
- the be the simplest, I would bet a local computer dealer would
- rent out a mac for that purpose (or even do it for you). Unless
- you want a lot of hassles, this is a one-time conversion (or you
- could buy a mac outright, but I wouldn't suggest it).
