- maybe it's a biased opinion, but during my 4 years at MIT, i met
- hundreds of people who are intelligent and did well in school. most
- of my friends from high school who were intelligent did well in
- school. most of my collegues whom i admire for their intelligence did
- very well in school.

- in my experience, i have met some people who i would classify as
- intelligent who did not do as well in school as others would expect,
- but they certainly weren't the norm.

- perhaps the blame should lie with the teachers rather than the tests.
- when someone dies in a car accident, we seldom blame the car. usually
- it's driver negligence.
