- We never got one till last year. They definetely work. No assurance you
- won't get a ticket though. Locally, on sideroads here, the cops like to
- sit off to the side of the road. When someone gets real close, they pop
- the old gun on. If you're a speerer, ever with a detector, you'r
- history. If you're okay, they turn it right off. This is what I believe
- they call instant on. The detector doesn't do any good as there is
- nothing to detect until it's too late.

- Of course, most folks here still flick their lights so you know what's
- coming. Also, the cops tend to use the same places over and over.....

- For long interstate trips, get a cheapie cb radio. Just listen to
- channel 19 or follow large trucks. Pretty safe.
