- If they were a legitimate bank, they would have no reason to ask for
- an advance payment, because they could just put it on your the first
- bill for your credit card. Thus it is most probably fraud. If the
- person running it gets 5000 replies with $39 in each reply, that adds
- up to $195,000.00, and the person would probably not pay taxes on that,
- but would probably go overseas to a resort area to lie low till the
- heat is off. If they leave town fast enough, they might never be
- identified. They might have used fake ID to open their business bank
- account, etc.
