  31. Dear Supporter,
  32.  
  33. Seventeen years is far too long for an innocent man to be in
  34. prison. This request comes to you in an urgent call for a 
  35. letter writing campaign to President Bill Clinton and First 
  36. Lady Hillary Clinton.  Individual letters carry far more weight
  37. than forms. 
  38.  
  39. We ask that these letters be sent between  Jan.  15th and 30th
  40. to ensure a virtual tidal wave of concern for Leonard Peltier 
  41. that cannot be ignored.  Imagine the effect of 100,000 
  42. letters will have on the new administration! If we expect justice
  43. to be done, we need to make a concerted effort that will clearly
  44. demonstrate that there are literally millions of people willing 
  45. to fight for Leonard's freedom.
