  39. including  lossless and lossy compression algorithms, quantization,
  40. transform, wavelet, and fractal techniques, coding theory, parallel
  41. algorithms and hardware, applications to specific types of data including
  42. text, graphics, sound, images, video, and scientific data.

  53. proceedings.  For registrations received before 2/15, the fee is $295 for
  54. IEEE or affiliate members, $370 for non-members, and $150 for students;
  55. there is an additional $100 late fee for all registrations after 2/15.
