- You imply that independent programmers should develop software just as
- a hobby, and should have another source of income so they can pay their
- rent, etc. What about those who don't want a full time job other than
- developing software independently? If their work is good enough to earn
- them a decent living, are you saying you want them to retreat from it,
- make it a hobby, and go back to work for an employer?
