  13. Dear NetNewsReaders,
  14.     I am trying to get gprof working on the Motorola 88k with gcc
  15. version 2.2.2. I am not the original person who installed the gcc
  16. compiler but I have access to all of it's sources. I did retrieve
  17. gprof from prep and compiled it ok. When I try to compile a program
  18. with the -pg option I get an error saying the loader cannot find
  19. gcrt0.o.
  20.     I cannot find any references to how these startup files are built
  21. and then where they reside so the linker can find them.
