  27.   The SPARCcenter 2000 from Sun Microsystems represents a new
  28.   generation of SPARC-based servers.  The SPARCcenter 2000 is
  29.   feature-rich, yet retaining simplicity and elegance.  It is
  30.   designed to meet the high capacity I/O requirements of corporate
  31.   data centers as well as the computationally intensive demands of
  32.   other organizations.  The system provides significant expansion
  33.   and scalability in three dimensions:  processor power, memory
  34.   capacity, and I/O connectivity.

  36.   Brian will discuss Sun servers from an historic perspective.  He
  37.   will also discuss architectural, implementation, and RAS
  38.   (Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability) details of the
  39.   SPARCcenter 2000.  White papers discussing the bus, processor,
  40.   and I/O architecture will be available for distribution and
  41.   discussed.

  43. Prior to the meeting, there will be an informal, non-structured
  44. "guru" session open to anyone wishing to attend.  This will start
  45. around 6:45pm in the meeting room, and we will have one or more
  46. gurus available to discuss whatever topics/problems/questions the
  47. attendees care to bring up.
