  16.    I am running Solaris 1.1 (SunOS 4.1.3) on a SPARCstation IPX.  I have
  17. compiled XView 3.0 under X11-R5 and have installed the new libraries in
  18. /fuj/files/X11R5/lib.  My LD_LIBRARY_PATH is set to the following string:

  20.          /fuj/files/X11R5/lib:/usr/openwin/lib:/usr/lib

  22. In my path, reference to MIT clients at /usr/bin/X11 appears BEFORE those
  23. in /$OPENWINHOME.  So, here is the problem:  When I start OpenWindows from
  24. my .login file, I get the error

  26.       window: Base frame not passed parent window in environment.
  27.       Cannot create base frame.  Process aborted.
