- Hi,
- I am developing a drawing program under XView.
- I have rubber banding objects. This is how i am going about it.
-
- I am having two GCs and a pixmap and a canvas. While rubber banding (in
- event_proc of canvas) i write the image in both the GCs , one has pixmap as
- drawable and other has the canvas has drawable. And in repaint_proc I
- Copy the Pixmap on to Canvas ( XCopyPlane). This works, but i dont like it.
- There must be a more elegant way of doign it.. i want to avoid drawing to
- two GCs.
-
- Any pointers are welcome. If someone can point to some pd program which does
- something similar , then it would be helpful.
-
- Thanks. Pleas e-mail responses to vijay@gateway.iitb.ernet.in
