- I am having problems getting a Intellicon-8 multi-i/o board
- working with SCO's XENIX 2.3.4.
-
- The terminals work fine, but the modem dosn't. It will send
- and receive properly, but the modem line DTR dosn't function
- properly. At the moment, after a connection (cu or uucico)
- DTR dosn't change. The remote modem drops its carrier, then
- my modem dies and drops the CD line. XENIX then just exits
- the cu/uucico program without sending my & entry in my Dialers
- file.
-
- I do have login enabled in the ttys file (and with the enable command)
-
- I do have entrys in the Dialers file with before and after (&)
- strings to be sent.
-
- All the lines are being sent to the modem (ie. pins 2,3,4,5,7,8,20)
-
-
- The modem setup was working perfectly with a "dumb" serial card.
- Could it be that my card isn't supported by XENIX? (I don't have
- my reference notes handy to look it up what boards XENIX supports)
-
- Any help or insight would be helpfull.
