  12. I have one of those love/hate things with Filepro.  Love it for what it
  13. does well (a lot), hate it for it's failings (which get fewer and fewer
  14. with every release, but are still enough to be frustrating).

  16. It has been my experience that people who are used to Dbase-like code 
  17. have real trouble getting into Filepro.  Filepro has a different perspective
  18. on everything, and the adjustment is difficult.

  20. On the other hand, those DB types that have stuck with the pain have
  21. (usually) come to love it and won't go back.

  23. I wish it were cheaper, I wish it handled variables better, I wish
  24. I could call it from C, I wish I could control what gets added to an index
  25. programmatically, and I wish a half dozen other things.
