  15. I'm having trouble writing to a DAT on a TLZ04 drive. dd, cp and tar keep
  16. trying to write, yielding no error messages till one kills the process
  17. out of impatience. dump fails with the error message:

  19.     iofail 5 28674
  20.  
  21. I have been unable to determine what causes the problem.  Read operations
  22. do not give any trouble. The tape drive head has been cleaned. I would
  23. appreciate any help.
