- Hello,
-
- Ever since upgrading to Ultrix V4.3 it has bothered me a bit that
- while running a graphics program named 'platon' on our systems,
- messages are displayed on the console that mention an overflowing
- errlog buffer. ('40 errors were missed', rapidly running in the
- 1000's).
-
- Last week on this newsgroup I read something about /usr/adm/syserr/xxx
- overflowing the disk, and I went and looked: It is 6MB. What I don't
- like is the message in it, which looks like a BUS-error in the
- X-server is prevented (message appended). This message is generally
- repeated 10's of times within the same second.
-
- Should I just ignore this?
-
- Thanks for your time.
