  15.     I have DOS Merge 3.0 by Locus. It was distributed with
  16.     DR DOS 6.0 (Lite?) from Univel. The problem I am having is
  17.     the lack of memory below 640K. I can assign as much extended
  18.     memory as I want to it but I can't seem to be able to free
  19.     up more memory in the 0-640K area. I have DR DOS 6.0
  20.     running native on another PC and I can get things to load
  21.     hi, or move operating system buffers out of the 640K area
  22.     which generally gives me about 622K available for DOS programs.

  24.     How can I do this under DOS Merge?? Right now I have 503K
  25.     available as reported by "mem" and thats not near enough 
  26.     for many programs..
