- I have DOS Merge 3.0 by Locus. It was distributed with
- DR DOS 6.0 (Lite?) from Univel. The problem I am having is
- the lack of memory below 640K. I can assign as much extended
- memory as I want to it but I can't seem to be able to free
- up more memory in the 0-640K area. I have DR DOS 6.0
- running native on another PC and I can get things to load
- hi, or move operating system buffers out of the 640K area
- which generally gives me about 622K available for DOS programs.
-
- How can I do this under DOS Merge?? Right now I have 503K
- available as reported by "mem" and thats not near enough
- for many programs..
-
- Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
