  13. Is the System V Rel 4 lpnet network printing support
  14. supposed to be compatible with older BSD type systems
  15. based on lpr/lpd ?

  17. In particular how do I set up a System V rel 4 Unix 
  18. system to support non-unix clients using lpr & lpd 
  19. to submit print jobs to the new Unix systems.

  21. I have notes on setting this up on Solaris but then
  22. Sun can be expected to include this as an extra since
  23. previous versions of SunOS used the BSD system. These
  24. notes are not generic enough to cover an NCR ATT Unix
  25. system used at another site.

  27. How many of you have integrated non-unix clients and
  28. a SYSV Rel 4 server and how did you do this?
