  14. We're running a slip link from here in Moscow to Alternet in VA, USA. Runs
  15. OK, but: I had to turn V.42/V.42bis off. Reason? It looks like V.42 window
  16. is too small for the huge roundtrip echo delay time (>=.5sec) we experience.
  17. When V.42/V.42bis was enabled, all we could have from ftp and friends was
  18. 500-700 bytes/sec, with V.42 turned off we have more pleasant 1100-1300
  19. bytes/sec. Pity we cannot use V.42bis. Anyone knows how to make V.42 window
  20. larger on Telebit and/or ZyXEL?
