- I am working a program that will work with a user's mail inbox (i.e.
- /usr/mail/$USER). I have been unable to find what I need to do to
- read and write the file without the system or anybody else
- interferring with the file. Is there a particular lock file that I
- need to create or a system call that I need to make. My system
- uses DG/UX (System V.4 compatible). Thanks in advance.
