- shell may be in VJ Compression mode. My version of slattach has that
- feature. Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't the 19200 be preceded
- by a -s? i.e. slattach -s 19200 /dev/com2. If you have VJ Compression,
- this can be called with slattach -c -s 19200 /dev/com2.
- Also, to see if it is a case of VJ Compression, see if you can
- ping any hosts.
