  12. I'm trying to upgrade two old serial cards by adding 16550's to the
  13. spare sockets on them.  However I cannot find manuals for either cards
  14. and was hoping some kind soul out there could tell me about the jumper
  15. settings and pin outs.

  17. The first is an Everex AT XT Multi I/O half-card.  It has 2 serial, games
  18. and parallel.  The second serial port needs 3 chips inserted into
  19. sockets.  There is a strip of 9 jumpers towards the bottom left of the
  20. card.  Could anyone tell me what these jumpers do.  I'd like to know
  21. what to un/set to enable the second serial port.  (Serial interfaces are
  22. handled by 2x5 pin strips labeled ASYN1, ASYN2.)

  24. The second half-card is a much older card no-name.  It has just 2
  25. serial.  The second serial again requires three chips inserted into
  26. sockets.  On this card the jumpers are well labeled but the second
  27. serial is handled by a 1x10 pin strip.  I'd like to know the pinout
  28. details for the 10 ping strip.
