  22. You're looking at the wrong thing.  Your problem is that you haven't
  23. configured the kernel for enough ptys.  In /sys/i386/conf/FOOBAR, you
  24. should have a line like:

  26. pseudo-device   pty             4
  27.  
  28. Change the `4' to whatever number of ptys you want available.  For 20
  29. real users, I would suggest 32.

  38. configuration mechanism using m4.
