  11. I've JUST installed the executables for XFree for 386BSD.  Now, I can't
  12. get startx to talk to my card.  It's called a VGA Mentor(that's on the
  13. box cover) with 1Meg ram and a 32K color option based on the Tseng
  14. ET4000 chip.  In the manual it's either a VGA 4000 9406 or a VGA 4000
  15. 9408.  I've gone through the man pages and the modeDB.notes (or some
  16. such) and haven't gotten anything bug gibberish on the screen.  My
  17. monitor is a multiscan and is interlaced at 1024X768.  I'm trying to run
  18. 800X600.
