  25. I can do you one better.  I've had access to AT&T Unix sources for at least four
  26. years.  I've examined fairly closely, and at times modified, bits-n-pieces of
  27. the V7 and 32V kernel source.  I've also worked with the 4.3 kernel guts, though
  28. not as much.  However:

  30. I'm a minor.  So I'm not bound by any contractual obligation, to AT&T or anyone
  31. else.  If USL is still working on the trade-secret angle in their lawsuit, I
  32. or others like me will, once we hit the mainstream of the computer industry,
  33. be exactly the type of legal conduit for information that removes trade-secret
  34. protection.  I doubt that USL has the legal resources to fight with the common
  35. law...
