- Howdy!
- Has anyone had problems with cksum errors when downloading the
- dist sets to an IBM RS/6000? I downloaded all three dist sets
- from a couple different sites (agate and gatekeeper) and get
- a cksum error on EVERY file when running dcksum < MANIFEST. Is
- the cksum command under AIX [3.2 I believe] operating on a
- different algorithm, or, as a friend suggested, are all IBM
- machines just evil?

- P.S. I downloaded the rawrite and dist.fs files and created my
- bootable, and all works fine. Also, Yes, I did use ftp in
- binary mode.
