- I, as well as many others, do... We just use the "average" number that
- is returned by programs such as SilverLining, FWB HDT or SCSI Evaluator.
- You can also get the number from the OEM sheet.

- HD Setup uses a "generic" disktab-type entry. There is a slight to measureable
- performance boost (depending on drive and accuracy of disktab) using 'newfs'
- over HD Setup.
