  13. I've got a problem I'm sure an AIX guru will easily solve :

  16.  - two standalone machines, one in 3.2.0 and another in
  17. 3.2.3,
  18.  -  and a few /usr clients of the first one (i.e. the 3.2.0
  19. server),

  21. what do I have to do on clients to upgrade them to 3.2.3 ?

  23. . Can I simply mount the 3.2.3 /usr on clients and then they
  24. become 3.2.3 ?
  25.  
  26. . Do I have to apply 3.2.3 (and 3.2.2 and 3.2.1) PTFs on the
  27. clients ?

  29. . If so, how is it possible ? I could never get away from the
  30. message :'another installp is running...' when using installp
  31. on a /usr client.
