- Hello,
-
- I've got a problem I'm sure an AIX guru will easily solve :
-
- Having :
- - two standalone machines, one in 3.2.0 and another in
- 3.2.3,
- - and a few /usr clients of the first one (i.e. the 3.2.0
- server),
-
- what do I have to do on clients to upgrade them to 3.2.3 ?
-
- . Can I simply mount the 3.2.3 /usr on clients and then they
- become 3.2.3 ?
-
- . Do I have to apply 3.2.3 (and 3.2.2 and 3.2.1) PTFs on the
- clients ?
-
- . If so, how is it possible ? I could never get away from the
- message :'another installp is running...' when using installp
- on a /usr client.
-
- Thanks in advance !
