  12. Fellow Aix'ers,
  13.     I need to replace a couple of disk drives, and these dirves
  14. constitute a VG called othervg.
  15.     What utilities Do I use to do the following.
  16.  
  17.     1.    Back up entire othervg (Including any unmounted lvs).
  18.  
  19.     2.    Physically replace the disks.
  20.  
  21.     3.    Restore othervg on new disks.
  22.  
  23. I tried mksysb, but it only backs up the rootvg. Do I have to backup each
  24. file system on othervg and then restore it? In this case what about
  25. unmounted lvs? Is there a utility that would dump an entire VG to tape,
  26. and then restore from the tape?

  28. Any and all help appreciated.
